U, C, a U A (part 2)
9-June-08 - Monday:
We did a couple rides at Gooseberry Mesa... one last night, and one this morning. It's the first time Lynne has ever ridden on rock like that.
I'd say she did pretty well though...
Pretty fun stuff out there. Great views and great trails.
After Gooseberry Mesa, we drove up to Navajo Lake sorta between Zion and Bryce. Or is that Brion and Zyce? I can never remember. Completely different scenery...
Riding in some lava rocks at the east end of the lake.10-June-08 - Tuesday:
We left Navajo Lake, and headed to Red Canyon just west of Bryce. I could describe it, but I just couldn't do it justice. So I'll just save my typing and show you some pictures that also don't do it justice. Really amazing stuff here...
Here's the first view we had when we entered the canyon. Ahhh... that's why the call it Red Canyon...

Riding back to camp on the bike path
Like I said, I could never do that justice in words, and really, the pics don't either. The scale of things is just so ... so ... so ... big. Yeah, that's the word.
Camped there in Red Canyon, and then I rode it again in the morning. Dang... just a really fun trail.
(again... more to come...)
