Kitten update:
We received a picture of one of the five kittens that Lynne fostered. It's pretty cute. This is Trace-who-is-now-Quincy. He is the kitten that was adopted out solo. The other four went in two pairs so they had company. But Trace (Quincy) went alone, and we were very worried about him getting lonely without his family.
Here he is with his new sister Kayla. I think he appears to be doing A-OK!
Again with the enlightenment...
Okay, so we changed plans, and decided to pour a concrete pad at the cottage end of our Path to Enlightenment. (Yes, brother, we added a step...) Because clearly any Path to Enlightenment consists of more than one step. In fact I dare say it *always* consists of at least one more step than planned.
But the real reason that I know I was on the correct path. The reason that I know my Path to Enlightenment was the right and true Path to Enlightenment was because it was work - hard work. But more than that - more than the hard work, just as I had finished ... just as I stood to look down upon my smooth concrete pad - my handiwork - my labor of love and spiritual advancement....... a bird pooped dead center of the pad. No shit! (pardon the pun) You don't get a better sign than that to let you know you're on the right path.
